Job description

Location: Flexible: West Midlands or surrounding counties | Hybrid – Client-Based & Remote Working | Circa £50,000–£52,000 + Bonus + 55p per mile

Looking for a Health & Safety role where no two days are the same?

Whether you're already working in consultancy or you're an experienced Health & Safety Advisor or Manager with a manufacturing background looking for a new challenge, this could be a great next step.

You'll enjoy a varied role, working with a diverse range of clients, applying your expertise across different industries and making a meaningful impact.

We're working with an established and respected Health & Safety Consultancy offering a supportive team environment, plenty of variety and the opportunity to put your experience to good use.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to take your health and safety experience into a broader consultancy role, working with an established client base across a range of industries.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, develop strong client relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice. Alongside your day-to-day consultancy work, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of training programmes and new services.

The role offers a good balance of independent working (you will manage your own diary) and collaboration with an experienced team, with the flexibility of a hybrid arrangement and regional client visits.

The company also takes a particularly generous approach to investing in its own employees' professional development, providing excellent support for CPD, further qualifications and specialist training to help you continue developing your expertise.

For someone who enjoys working with different businesses, sharing their expertise and having a direct influence on how health and safety is managed, there's plenty of scope to make the role your own.

What we're looking for

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification, or close to achieving it – essential

Strong practical H&S experience, ideally gained within manufacturing or a similar industrial environment

Existing consultancy experience would be welcomed but isn't essential

Ideally a Level 3 Fire Safety qualification and interest in fire safety

Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships

A practical, solutions-focused approach to health and safety

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally

What's on offer?

Salary up to £52,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Performance-related bonus

55p per mile business mileage

Hybrid working, combining remote work with regional client visits

Generous investment in your own CPD, professional qualifications and specialist training

A varied and rewarding role within an established consultancy
