The Opportunity

Our client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale industrial and logistics developments across the UK. Due to continued growth within their industrial division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of major distribution centres, warehousing facilities, and logistics developments nationwide.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day engineering delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying works across the project lifecycle.
Managing QA documentation and quality assurance processes.
Reviewing technical drawings and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
Coordinating subcontractors and supporting site management teams.
Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
Supporting health, safety, and environmental standards across site operations.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within the construction industry.
Experience delivering industrial, logistics, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
Proficient in setting out using modern surveying equipment.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and technical compliance.
Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
CSCS card essential.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel nationwide and lodge away during the working week.
