An established civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Devon is looking to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its growing team.

Working across residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors, the consultancy offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across the South West. You will work alongside experienced engineers, developing your technical knowledge and gaining valuable experience across all stages of structural design and project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join a supportive team, work on challenging projects and receive full support towards achieving Chartership.

The Role:

Assist with the structural design and analysis of a variety of building projects.

Prepare structural design calculations in accordance with Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant industry guidance.

Produce structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Support preliminary and detailed design stages across a range of projects.

Assist with coordinating structural and civil engineering design work.

Liaise with colleagues across structural, infrastructure, highways and drainage teams.

Work alongside experienced engineers to develop practical and cost-effective structural solutions.

Gain exposure to project management and the wider design process.

About You:

Degree qualified or working towards a BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

A genuine interest in developing a career within structural engineering.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit would be advantageous.

Good understanding of structural design principles and construction materials.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to learn.

Able to work effectively as part of a team while developing the confidence to work independently.
