* Assess structural integrity, identify defects, diagnose cracking, movement or subsidence issues, and determine necessary repairs or structural remedial measures.

* Write clear, concise and detailed follow-up structural reports in plain English, ensuring they meet professional standards and are suitable for clients, insurers and local authorities.

* Liaise professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, architects, insurers and contractors.

* Manage your own schedule, inspection pipeline and report deadlines efficiently, in conjunction with the Practice Manager.

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, jargon-free reports, letters or emails.

* Self-motivated, highly organised and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.

* Familiarity with standard structural analysis principles. Knowledge of software such as Eurobeam, Tekla, Tedds and AutoCAD would be beneficial.

* Flexible and hybrid working: Flexible start and finish times around core hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with options to regularly work from home. The focus is on delivery, efficiency and budget.
