The Opportunity

An established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join its team in Watford.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established civils team working across a varied portfolio of projects, including industrial developments, rail infrastructure and private residential schemes.

The business is looking for an engineer with at least 3 years' experience who can contribute to technical delivery, work collaboratively with colleagues and take on increasing responsibility across a range of civil engineering projects.

The Role

Delivering civil engineering designs across a variety of infrastructure projects

Developing engineering solutions from initial design through to delivery

Producing and coordinating technical drawings and design information

Working on projects across industrial, rail and residential sectors

Collaborating with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design delivery

Ensuring designs meet relevant technical standards and project requirements

Taking responsibility for project tasks and supporting successful project delivery

What We're Looking For

3+ years' experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment

Experience delivering civil infrastructure designs, ideally across highways, drainage or external works

Experience using Civil 3D and Causeway Flow

Strong technical ability and attention to detail

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

A proactive approach to design delivery and problem-solving

Experience managing design packages or taking technical responsibility for projects would be advantageous for Senior Project Engineer level
